The launchpad for the international emerging design scene, Paris Design Week Factory, is open for applications!
For over fifteen years now, Factory has been showcasing the design talents who matter today. In 2025, this lab for the avant-garde hosted by Paris Design Week brought together 180 designers and design producers from 23 countries. The concept: four collective exhibitions devoted to collectible design, design for production, and international pavilions, spread throughout the Marais district. A few square meters suffice to capture the attention of the 24,000 visitors, including professionals who can supercharge a career. For the 2026 edition, the selection of candidates will be made by two former Factory denizens who are now well-known: designer and ceramic artist Jean-Baptiste Durand and designer Simon Geringer. Eligibility requirements include being in business for under 5 years and having participated in Factory two times at the most. And here’s some good news for those new to the industry: there is no age limit. Cost: 170 euros per m2. Application deadline: May 25th at midnight.
